Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or subject from any reputed institution.
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Garments Technology, or a related field will get preference.
Must have 10 years(s) of experience in Denim Garments Finishing, preferably with 3–4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Computer Skill: Microsoft offices Applications.
Good communication skills in English and Bengali.
Strong knowledge of denim garment finishing and packing processes.
Good understanding of garment quality and buyer requirements.
Ability to work under production pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
Leadership and team-management capability.
No need to apply if you have no expertise in denim garment finishing.
Plan, organize, and control daily finishing operations according to the production plan and shipment schedule.
Supervise finishing processes such as thread trimming, pressing/ironing, spot removal, repair, measurement checking, folding, tagging, packing, and carton preparation.
Ensure finished garments meet approved buyer specifications, workmanship standards, measurements, appearance, and packing requirements.
Monitor hourly/daily production output and take corrective action when targets are not achieved.
Coordinate with washing, production, quality, IE, merchandising, warehouse, and packing departments to maintain smooth workflow.
Identify bottlenecks and implement methods to improve productivity and reduce unnecessary manpower, time, and material consumption.
Ensure proper handling of denim garments to prevent stains, damage, shade issues, pressing marks, wrinkles, and other finishing defects.
Monitor and reduce alteration, repair, rejection, rework, and quality failure.
Ensure proper segregation and handling of different styles, colors, sizes, POs, and buyer requirements.
Review quality reports and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tables, steam irons, pressing equipment, packing materials, and other resources.
Maintain production records, quality reports, manpower reports, and daily finishing performance reports.
Coordinate with maintenance regarding machine/equipment breakdowns and ensure minimum production interruption.
Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, housekeeping, and workplace discipline requirements.
