Job Context: We are a leading 100% export-oriented apparel manufacturer. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize our entire garment production floor operations, ensuring timely shipments and optimum quality.

Job Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans according to shipment deadlines.

• Monitor sewing line achievements against targets every hour.

• Allocate floor resources, materials and manpower effectively to prevent idle time.

Floor Efficiency & Cost Control

• Partner with the Industrial Engineering (IE) department to maximize line efficiency and cut waste.

• Optimize line layouts and balancing to improve standard allowed minutes (SAM).

• Manage floor overhead expenses and control production manufacturing costs.

Quality Assurance & Maintenance

• Maintain zero-tolerance quality control standards to achieve buyer AQL targets.

• Ensure machine maintenance schedules are followed to minimize floor breakdowns.

• Lead daily floor review meetings with line chiefs and supervisors to address technical issues.

Workforce Management & Compliance

• Supervise, motivate and manage line supervisors, cutting masters and operators.

• Ensure full factory compliance, health and occupational safety rules are met on the floor.
