  • 2–4 years of experience in HR & Payroll, preferably in Knit Dyeing & Washing or RMG sector.
  • Practical experience with payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Familiar with local labor laws, BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, and other compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathetic and approachable demeanor.
  • Sound knowledge of employee welfare practices and labor rights.
  • Problem-solving attitude with strong documentation ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Responsibilities & Context:

We are a reputed Knit Dyeing & Washing Factory looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Officer/Executive to manage the day-to-day payroll functions and HR operations efficiently. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in payroll processing, attendance management, compliance, and employee record keeping, along with good knowledge of labor laws.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time. Maintain attendance, leave, and overtime, tiffin bill records.
  •  Ensure proper record keeping of employee files, personal information and service history.
  •  Handle recruitment, joining formalities, and exit procedures.
  •  Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, factory rules, and company policies.
  •  Assist in disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
  •  Prepare and submit HR & payroll-related reports to management.
  • Liaise with Accounts Department for salary disbursement and others benefits.
  • Support employee welfare activities and communication.
  • Monitor and ensure proper implementation of labor laws, including health, safety, House Keeping and welfare measures.
  • Build effective communication and trust between workers and management.
  • Handle grievances and provide counseling to workers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records related to employee welfare and legal compliance.
  • Conduct regular worker welfare awareness programs and training.
  • Ensure grievance mechanism system & maintain all type of records as per compliance requirements.
  • Ensure floor compliance regularly & look after housekeeping, medical, canteen, drinking water & sanitation system strongly.
  • Facilitate orientation programs for new workers and provide support for HR initiatives.
  • Promote hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the workplace.
