Job Context:
∎ Working closely with the Chief Executive officer (CEO), the role holder will be responsible to lead the strategic marketing communications and operational delivery of activity for the Guardian Life Insurance Ltd. Will define and drive the brand to develop marketing campaigns and activity. Leading the marketing team & developing our brand proposition and providing marketing direction across the organization.
∎ The main purpose of the job includes marketing strategy, digital marketing, branding, activation & Liaison. The followings are the very specific summary of the job:
∎ -To Develop Marketing Strategy along with corporate aim and vision.
∎ -To understand the company vision and to lead internal and external communication strategy for creating positive market impact.
∎ -To generate ideas for company branding to enhance the value proposition of the company
∎ -To lead the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies
∎ -To lead the development of product specific brand strategies.
∎ -To maintain liaison with communication stakeholders along with newspapers, televisions and Advertising agencies.
∎ -To lead the market analysis and market research for measuring customer satisfaction and product demand.
∎ -To suggest new product aligned with the customer needs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ #Leadership & Strategic:
∎ Lead the development of marketing strategy for company, specific product & program.
∎ Ensure the development of product specific marketing strategy.
∎ Leading and authenticating yearly budget for the marketing activities.
∎ Developing the communication strategy.
∎ Market oversight and development of competitive marketing strategy.
∎ Strategic initiatives for effectiveness and efficiency.
∎ #Digital Marketing:
∎ Leading digital marketing activities using official social media.
∎ Concept development for digital platform.
∎ Leading the online activities to improve the visibility of the GLIL digital platforms (branding).
∎ Ensure strategic brand management.
∎ Ensure the presence of Guardian to the maximum extents.
∎ Implementation of branding guidelines at all the activities of Guardian Life Insurance Ltd.
∎ Managing the development of brand stories for specific products & services.
∎ #Activation:
∎ Managing and the activation campaigns, fairs, seminars, conferences etc. at regular intervals.
∎ Ensuring the total assets management before, during and after activation.
∎ Managing the before and after activation plan with budget and effectiveness.
∎ #People Development:
∎ Build a strong culture of accountability and teamwork amongst employees.
∎ Assigning responsibilities to ensure staff member’s growth.
∎ Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
∎ Provide career guidance and support to educate and motivate team members.
∎ #Communication Strategy and Liaison:
∎ Developing effective communication and liaison with vendors, designers, journalist and media buying agencies.
∎ Designing effective communication strategies and liaisons with corporate clients.
∎ Designing and leading communication strategy with customers and other stakeholders.
∎ #Research & innovation:
∎ Leading marketing research as per the requirements.
∎ Guiding innovative ideas for improving customer experience.
∎ Guiding innovative ideas for marketing and product development.
∎ Leading research on Content development.
∎ Bringing innovation in marketing process.
∎ #Crisis Management:
∎ Leading marketing programs & Campaign in a very short term notice.
∎ Capacity to work in a very high pressure.
∎ Ability to manage any sorts of marketing & communication crisis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Proven experience as Head of Marketing & Communication or relevant role for more than 4 years.
∎ Highest standard of integrity, humility and ethics.
∎ Leadership with a wide perspective right from strategy to operations.
∎ Result orientation and proven execution capability.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Ability to guide and coach across levels in the line teams.
∎ Ability to take the teams along and provide them encouragement, direction and course correction inputs at all times.
