Experience:
1. Policy Formulation & Regulatory Compliance:
Formulate, review, and modify various Credit Risk Management (CRM) policies in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
Initiate and draft internal circulars, guidelines, and policy notes as required.
Maintain up-to-date records of all internal and external circulars/guidelines relevant to credit and risk management.
To deal with Internal, External including Bangladesh Bank Audit Team and provide compliance report.
Ensure regulatory and internal process compliance in all CRM activities.
Ensure strict compliance with observations of internal audit and Bangladesh Bank inspections, and enforce adherence to CRM policy, Bangladesh Bank directives, and all relevant regulatory guidelines.
2. Credit Risk Assessment & Proposal Processing:
Review credit proposals received from Business Units/Branches and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory instructions.
Provide Credit Risk Assessment by conducting detailed financial, business and industry analysis as well as by assessing repayment capacity, financial soundness and management capability of borrowers
Provide credit opinion in line with Bangladesh Bank’s and Bank Asia’s Credit Policy and recommend appropriate risk mitigation plan and loan structuring measures.
Process credit proposals and prepare relevant Office Notes/Memos in accordance with Bank policy and SLA timelines.
Prepare and issue Sanction Advice along with Documentation Checklists, ensuring accuracy and timeliness as per SLA.
3. Monitoring & Portfolio Management:
Monitor borrowers’ performance to ensure deposition/routing of sales proceeds and timely execution of work/export orders.
Monitor stressed accounts, including expired, overdue, SMA, and classified portfolios of the Bank.
Ensure off-site monitoring of such accounts as per defined SLA frequency.
Raise Red Flags and circulate Early Alerts (EA) Memos in accordance with the Early Alert Policy of the Bank.
Conduct regular visits to business site, factory/project site and collateral to assess operational and repayment capacity of the borrower as well as status of the collateral.
4. Management Information System (MIS) & Reporting:
Maintain the MIS database and prepare various MIS-based performance, monitoring, control, and compliance reports as per requirement of Management/Board of the Bank and Regulatory Authority.
Provide analytical insights and data support for management decision-making.
5. Cross-Divisional Support:
Provide assistance to Business Divisions (C&LL, EFD, ME, CMSE, AGRI, etc.), Branch/SME Center/IBW, Credit Administration Division (CAD), Special Asset Management Division (SAMD) and Risk Management Division (RMD) on various credit-related issues from time to time.
6. Human Resource & Capacity Development:
Assist the Human Resources Division (HRD) in the recruitment and employee assessment process, including participation in recruitment and promotion interviews.
Attend internal and external training programs, seminars, and workshops organized by BAITD, Bangladesh Bank, BIBM, ICC, and other institutions.
Conduct and participate in internal Knowledge Sharing Programs (KSP) within the Division to promote continuous learning and professional development.
7. Communication & Awareness:
Prepare audio-visual presentations, briefing notes, and awareness materials for internal and external stakeholders.
