Education:
    • Masters
  • Must have Master’s (Post Graduation) degree from a UGC-approved university. 

  • No 3rd Class /Division or CGPA below 2.25 (as per BA policy) will not be accepted at any stage of the academic career. 

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), or vendor-specific DR certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) are advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of backup, restore, and replication technologies.

  • Proficiency with DR tools, HA clustering, and virtualization platforms.

  • Familiarity with ITIL, cloud DR, and hybrid recovery solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system monitoring skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure during outages or failover exercises.

  • Good documentation, coordination, and communication abilities.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor disaster recovery solutions, including backup and restore systems.

  • Conduct periodic DR drills and failover testing in coordination with the BCP/DR Lead.

  • Ensure data replication, storage resilience, and system redundancy are functioning as required.

  • Support application and infrastructure teams during DR exercises and recovery efforts.

  • Document DR procedures, runbooks, and test results.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to backup/restore, clustering, and failover systems.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for DR tools and services.

  • Provide technical input for BCP/DR plan updates and improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements related to DR.

  • Maintain logs, metrics, and reports of DR system health and tests.
