Responsibilities & Context:
  • Credit Risk Assessment

  • Evaluating the credit proposals to identify the creditworthiness of the concern

  • Assessing the financials and other compliance issues through client visit

  • Preparing the business appraisal accumulating all the relevant information required for investment decision

  • Presenting the business appraisal to the management and face the management enquiries

  • Risk Mitigating Strategies

  • Identifying investment risks and develop strategies to mitigate the credit default risk

  • Utilizing Credit Risk Grading (CRG) model to filter good business portfolio and gauge potential risks

  • Coordinating with business team to get updated with market information and redesign risk strategies periodically

  • Policy Development

  • Reviewing CRM Manual and PPG periodically to align the investment decision with updated market condition and regulations

  • Collaborating with senior management to establish risk thresholds and lending criteria

  • Portfolio Monitoring

  • Coordinating with business RM and vetting of utilization report for fund already disbursed

  • Periodic follow up client visit to assess the current business condition and future prospect of the clients and the industry as well

  • Providing monthly performance analysis report to the management

  • Strategic Partnering

  • Arranging Coordination meeting with Business and Operation Department to find out any gap and develop further strategies

  • After approval coordination with Operation department to smoothen the disbursement function

  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence

  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations

  • Implementing internal controls to maintain data security and privacy in accordance with industry standards
