Experience:

• At least 5 years

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from UGC approved universities having no 3rd class/division in academic records.        

• Candidate having minimum 16 years of schooling will be eligible.        

• Membership in the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) is an added advantage.

• At least 5 years

• Age At least 26 years

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, facility management, commercial building services, electrical and electromechanical construction projects, or maintenance of corporate facilities.

• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a commercial bank, financial institutions or corporate infrastructure project.

• Plan, supervise and monitor the installation, renovation, repair, operation and maintenance of electrical systems across branches, sub-branches, ATM booths, corporate offices, training centers, data centers and other bank facilities.

• Prepare technical specifications, electrical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, technical proposals and scopes of work for procurement and project implementation.

• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution systems, lighting systems, earthing systems, generators, transformers, lifts, UPS, IPS, HVAC electrical systems, air-conditioning systems, electrical panels and associated equipment.

• Supervise contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements.

• Inspect, test, and commission electrical installations to ensure compliance with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Bangladesh Electrical Code (BEC), fire safety requirements and other applicable statutory regulations.

• Verify work measurements, inspect completed works, certify completion and recommend contractors' bills for payment in accordance with contractual terms.

• Coordinate with the Procurement Division, ICT Division, Finance Division, Administration, Branches and external service providers for the successful implementation of electrical projects and maintenance activities.

• Assist in preparing tender documents, conducting technical evaluations, vendor assessments, bid analyses and contract administration for electrical works and equipment procurement.

• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of generators, transformers, lifts, HVAC systems, air-conditioning systems, UPS, IPS, electrical panels, lighting systems and other electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted banking operations.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, fire protection requirements, energy efficiency initiatives, environmental regulations and occupational health and safety practices across all bank facilities.

• Maintain updated electrical drawings, asset registers, maintenance schedules, testing records, warranties, equipment inventories, project documentation and technical reports.

• Prepare project progress reports, maintenance reports, energy consumption analyses, budgets and presentations for Management.

• Provide technical support during emergency situations, including power failures, equipment breakdowns and disaster recovery and business continuity operations.

• Recommend improvements in electrical infrastructure, energy conservation, automation and operational efficiency to optimize facility performance and reduce operating costs.

• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management of the Bank.
