Experience:
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related discipline from a UGC-approved university or an accredited foreign university.
Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in a bank or financial institution, including four to five years in product management, credit policy or process re-engineering.
A proven track record of taking at least one lending product from concept to national rollout.
Strong command of the regulatory framework governing the segment and the ability to represent the bank confidently in regulatory forums.
Proven capability in policy drafting, product program design and product economics.
Sound grasp of credit scoring and cash-flow-based underwriting.
Process design and re-engineering capability; Lean or Six Sigma exposure will be an advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to make data-led decisions.
Proficiency in spoken and written Bangla and English.
A professional certification such as CDCS, CAMS, CERM, FRM, CFA or a PGD in Banking will be a distinct advantage.
Willingness to travel across the country regularly.

The bank is seeking a qualified and purpose-driven professional for the following position within its SME Banking Division.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Lifecycle Management
Own the full product lifecycle – concept, design, business case, approval, launch, review, refresh and retirement.
Draft and maintain Product Program Guidelines within the regulatory framework and the Board- and Management-approved risk appetite.
Set pricing, own product profitability, reduce acquisition costs, maintain spreads and maximise return on capital.
Conduct monthly product performance reviews against defined KPIs.
Build go-to-market plans, campaigns and frontline enablement programmes for every launch.
Process Design & Re-engineering
Challenge conventional processes; redesign customer journeys from first principles while remaining fully compliant.
Cut turnaround time, cost to serve and manual touchpoints against measurable targets.
Digitize product processes, servicing and acquisition to control costs and improve the customer experience.
Author and maintain standard operating procedures, checklists and delegation matrices.
Regulatory Engagement & Policy Advocacy
Own the regulatory relationship for policy advocacy and provide regulatory feedback. Engage with the central bank, industry associations and relevant authorities as the Division’s technical voice.
Prepare position papers, impact assessments and advocacy submissions on policies affecting the segment.
Interpret regulatory changes, assess their business impact and lead implementation across products, processes and systems.
Market Intelligence & Field Validation
Visit the market frequently. Test products and processes geography by geography. Incorporate field evidence into design decisions.
Track competitor propositions, pricing and service standards, and address identified gaps.
Administrative Responsibilities
Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations and Technology to secure approvals and close audit observations.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AML and other regulatory requirements across every product and process.
HR Responsibilities
Keep frontline and sales teams updated on product features and the prevailing policies and guidelines of the bank and regulators.
