Job Context

IDLC Finance PLC is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Analyst to join its team outside Dhaka. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, property valuations, construction monitoring and risk evaluations to support sound credit decisions and quality business growth. The role also requires carrying out any other responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Conduct site visits and prepare comprehensive technical reports, including Tec Valuation Reports, Construction Progress Reports, property valuations, and project cost estimates.

• Review and scrutinize building plans, construction permission letters, and other relevant technical and statutory documents.

• Review engineering calculations, structural designs, and detailed drawings to assess technical compliance and adequacy.

• Monitor and supervise the construction progress and quality of project sites through regular site inspections.

• Assess and scrutinize the structural safety, condition, and integrity of mortgaged properties/security.

• Conduct property valuation and market assessments, including analysis of prevailing market conditions and comparable property values.

• Estimate, analyze, and validate construction costs, project budgets, and cost-to-completion.

• Identify, assess, and report technical and property-related risks associated with financed assets and projects.

• Work closely with CRM, Business, and other relevant stakeholders to provide value-added technical and risk insights that support sound credit decisions and quality business growth.

• Support overall technical risk management through site inspection, documentation review, valuation, construction monitoring, and risk assessment.

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience

1–3 years

• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to conduct site inspections and assess technical risks.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
