Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's/Honors or Master's degree from a recognized university. Third Division/Class from any level of education will NOT be considered

Experience

  • Product Marketing Officer (PMO): Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply with strong interest and proven ability in sales, business development, customer acquisition, and relationship management. Candidates with approximately 6 months or more relevant experience can also apply.

  • Assistant Officer to Principal Officer: 2–8 years of relevant experience. Candidates with more than 8 years of experience may also be considered based on suitability. Candidates with experience in Banks/NBFIs are highly preferred.

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying prospective customers, promoting LankaBangla Finance's Credit Cards, generating quality leads, and converting prospects into successful business relationships.

The role requires strong sales capability, excellent communication and people management skills, customer orientation, and the ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers through field visits, telecalling, corporate visits, referrals, campaigns, networking, and other lead-generation channels.

  • Clearly and professionally explain product features, benefits, pricing, fees, eligibility criteria, terms, and usage guidelines to prospective customers.

  • Understand customers' financial needs and recommend appropriate products based on their requirements and eligibility.

  • Generate new business leads through personal networks, referrals, corporate relationships, market visits, and other approved sources.

  • Conduct regular field visits to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

  • Collect customer applications and supporting documents and ensure that all information is complete, accurate, and properly submitted.

  • Conduct necessary preliminary verification and coordinate with relevant teams for further processing of customer applications.

  • Follow up with prospective customers regarding application status, approval, disbursement, card activation, and other relevant stages of the sales process.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to encourage repeat business, referrals, and long-term customer engagement.

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers, Branch Teams, Credit, Operations, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth processing and conversion of leads.

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business targets.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update supervisors on lead status, conversion progress, and business potential.

  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required by management.

  • Ensure all sales and customer acquisition activities comply with LankaBangla Finance's internal policies, KYC requirements, AML guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices.

  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of customer information and documents.

  • Participate in sales campaigns, corporate activation programs, customer engagement activities, and other business development initiatives.

  • Stay updated on assigned products, market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

  • Perform any other sales and business development responsibilities assigned by management.
