Experience:
MBA/MBM/Master’s degree or four year Bachelor’s degree (preferably Business) from UGC approved universities having no 3rd class in academic records.
Candidate having minimum 16 years of schooling will be eligible.
Any professional degree in Islamic Banking or Islamic Banking Diploma will be added advantage.
Minimum 03 years of work experience in investment risk management division of any reputed commercial banks or financial institution.
Preference will be given to candidates having MTO/PO background in commercial banks/ financial institution.
Review CMSME investment proposals for completeness, accuracy and policy compliance.
Verify customer eligibility, enterprise classification, KYC, CIB, business visit reports and supporting documents.
Analyze financial statements, cash flows, repayment capacity and business viability.
Assess industry, market, management and operational risks; assign/validate internal risk grading (ICRRS).
Evaluate collateral adequacy, security valuation and recommend appropriate investment structures, pricing and covenants.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal investment policies, delegated authority, Risk Appetite Framework and Shariah guidelines.
Prepare investment/credit appraisal memoranda with risk assessment and mitigation recommendations for approval authorities, HOCC, Board or Executive Committee.
Coordinate with Branches, Relationship Managers, Legal, CAD, Recovery and other stakeholders to facilitate proposal processing and documentation.
Conduct field visits to business premises, factories, warehouses and mortgaged properties as required for due diligence.
Monitor portfolio quality, repayments, limit utilization, covenant compliance, renewals and early warning indicators; recommend corrective actions for stressed accounts.
Support regulatory reporting, portfolio MIS, audit observations and compliance requirements.
Maintain proposal turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely processing of investment applications.
Provide technical guidance to branches on CMSME investment appraisal and documentation standards.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or management.
