• Skills & Expertise:

• Expertise in Islamic Financing: In-depth understanding of Islamic finance products, principles (like Musharakah, Mudarabah, Ijara, etc.) and regulations.

• Leadership Skills: proven ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team, manage multiple stakeholders and drive change at an executive level.

• Strategic Vision: Strong business acumen with the ability to craft and execute long-term strategic plans for Islamic Financing.

• Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks specific to Islamic Finance.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local and international Islamic Financing regulation, compliance standards and Shariah governance.

• Financial Expertise: Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.

• Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with high-profile clients, partners and regulatory authorities.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Financing or Financial Services Sector, with at least 5 years leadership experience in Islamic Financing or related fields.

• Proven track record in managing Islamic Financing operations, products and teams.

Position Summary:

The Head of Islamic Finance is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the Islamic Wing of the organization by formulating and executing strategic, financial, and operational initiatives. The role ensures full integration of Islamic finance operations with the broader organizational framework while driving sustainable growth, profitability, regulatory compliance, and market leadership.

Reports to : Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for Islamic Finance to drive growth and profitability in line with the commands of Allah and his Prophet (SWT).

• Establish and manage Islamic Financing products and services in line with Shariah principles.

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including product development, marketing and risk management, compliance and customer service.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Shariah Board, the Executive Committee, Board and external regulatory bodies, to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations.

• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the Islamic Financing Division.

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Islamic Financing Professionals.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to Islamic Financing laws and regulations, as well as global best practices

• Monitor the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
