Experience:
Bachelors/ Masters in any discipline from any reputed Public University/ Private University (UGC approved)/ Foreign University.
Education / or certifications related to Finance, Economics, Accounting and Risk Management.
At least 2 – 3 years of banking experience with significant exposure on Risk Management Department
•Concurrent with macro-economic conditions and business / commerce situation.
Sound knowledge on MS Package – Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Job Purpose:
The job holder will evaluate and identify potential risks associated with the bank's operations and services. He/she will analyze market risk associated with trading and investment activities, monitor financial markets, interest rates, and investment portfolios to ensure compliance with risk limits.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities include:
Risk Management Division (RMD): Manage and oversee the Risk Management Division in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s approved policies and procedures. Prepare the Monthly Risk Management Report (MRMR) and Comprehensive Risk Management Report (CRMR) covering key and emerging risks, along with the corresponding RMD meeting minutes. Analyze the Bank’s risk management position across core risk areas and submit monthly & Half Yearly reports to Bangladesh Bank as required.
Basel III Implementation: Ensure effective implementation and ongoing compliance with Basel III regulatory requirements and related guidelines.
ICAAP: Prepare and coordinate the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) document
Market Disclosure: Prepare and ensure timely submission & publication of Pillar III / Market Disclosure Statements in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Stress Testing: Conduct quarterly Stress Testing in accordance with Bangladesh Bank’s applicable guidelines, assess the impact of various adverse scenarios on the Bank’s financial and risk position, and submit the Stress Testing Report to the regulator within the stipulated timeline.
IRRBB: Prepare and monitor Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) statements and reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines and the Bank’s approved IRRBB framework.
Risk-Based Supervision (RBS): Coordinate, prepare, validate, and submit Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) related data, templates, reports, and other regulatory requirements within prescribed deadlines.
Recovery Plan: Coordinate the preparation, review, and periodic updating of the Bank’s Recovery Plan in line with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s risk management framework.
Treasury Risk Monitoring: Monitor Treasury activities in accordance with the approved Treasury Policy, including ensuring that deals are executed within prescribed limits and that all necessary approvals are obtained for any limit breaches or exceptions.
Daily Risk Monitoring & MIS: Prepare and submit daily risk reports/MIS to RMD–Head Office, including:
o Counterparty-wise exposure report
o Dealer limit report
o Foreign Exchange Exposure / Net Open Position (NOP) report
o Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) report
o Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) report
o Money Market (MM) / Foreign Exchange (FX) Gap reports
o Liquidity reports
o Other risk monitoring reports as required
Limit Monitoring: Monitor various counterparties, dealer, and exposure limits, identify upcoming and expired limits, and coordinate timely renewal/enhancement of limits. Review counterparties’ annual reports and financial information to facilitate necessary arrangements for renewal or enhancement of expired limits.
Head Office Reporting: Prepare and provide various risk management, regulatory, analytical, and management reports to RMD–Head Office on a regular or demand basis.
Regulatory Compliance & Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with applicable Bangladesh Bank directives, regulatory guidelines, Head Office instructions, and the Bank’s internal risk management policies and procedures.
