SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
Networking Fundamentals: VLANs, and switching/routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Hardware Knowledge: Configuration and management of routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Fortinet), and wireless access points.
Network Security: Implementing ACLs, NAT, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and understanding security best practices.
Cloud Networking: Knowledge of VPCs, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
Automation & Scripting: Ability to use Python, Bash, or YAML with Ansible to automate repetitive tasks.
Troubleshooting: Diagnostic skills to resolve connectivity, performance, and hardware issues.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 6 to 8 Years
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: CISCO, JUNIPER, PALO ALTO, FORTIGET, F5, A10 and CHECKPOINT.
Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across LAN, WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.
Manage and support network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless LAN controllers (WLC), access points (AP), web application firewalls (WAF), load balancers, and unified communications systems (UCM).
Implement and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, along with Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, and vPC.
Configure and troubleshooting secure connectivity solutions, including IPSec, SSL, and GRE VPNs, as well as remote access services.
Monitor network performance and availability using tools such as Forti Analyzer, Cacti, and PRTG, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
Provide Level 2/3 technical support, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient network solutions.
Perform routine network maintenance, including firmware upgrades, patching, and operating system updates to ensure system stability and security.
Stay current with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN, cloud networking, Zero Trust architecture, and network automation.
