Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline from a reputed university.

• No third division/class or equivalent CGPA is allowed at any stage of the academic career.

• Preferably completed Banking Diploma courses (JAIBB & AIBB)

• At least 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Age At least 24 years

• Strong product knowledge and practical understanding of CMSME banking.

• Clear understanding of CMSME-related Bangladesh Bank circulars, guidelines, and refinance schemes.

• Proven leadership capability to lead and motivate a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) across multiple districts within the assigned region.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to drive business budgets, achieve assigned targets, and effectively monitor portfolio performance.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and assessment of business performance.

• Established CMSME customer network/base with the ability to leverage existing relationships to contribute to sustainable business growth.

• Strong stress management and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to perform effectively in a challenging and target-driven environment.

• Ability to motivate, inspire, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and regional business objectives.

Job Location : Rangpur Division, Sylhet Division and Jashore (Including Pabna/Narail & Faridpur)

Job Grade :

The Cluster Head – SME & Agri Banking will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy for the assigned region, with a strong focus on sustainable growth of the existing SME & Agri portfolio. The role will drive portfolio growth, profitability, asset quality, deposit mobilization, business acquisition, compliance, and stakeholder engagement across the region.

The Cluster Head will lead and monitor the performance of SME Relationship Managers within the cluster and will be directly accountable to the Head of SME & Agri Banking Division for achieving the assigned business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the business strategy and annual business plan for the assigned region.

2. Drive sustainable portfolio growth and profitability in line with the approved regional business budget and targets.

3. Ensure portfolio quality, asset quality, and collection efficiency through regular monitoring and timely corrective actions.

4. Drive low-cost deposit mobilization and acquire quality business in Import, Bank Guarantee, Tender/Bidding, and other relevant SME & Agri banking products.

5. Lead, guide, and monitor SME Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure achievement of business and portfolio targets.

6. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, credit guidelines, and risk management standards.

7. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the bank’s visibility, market presence, and business opportunities.
