  • Minimum 20 years' banking experience, including at least five years in senior leadership overseeing HR, training and operations.
  • Proven success in HR modernization and large-scale operational transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, employment laws and Bangladesh Bank requirements.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as SHRM-SCP, GPHR, CIPD, PMP or Lean Six Sigma, will be an advantage.
  • Age Limit: 55 years (may be relaxed for exceptional candidates).

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished leader to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer - a pivotal role responsible for driving both people strategy and operational excellence across the Bank.

This strategic leadership position blends full oversight of the Human Resources Division and Training & Development with responsibility for bank-wide operational integration, service excellence and continuous improvement. Chief Human Resources Officer will lead modernization efforts, ensuring that HR, training and operations are seamlessly aligned with Jamuna Bank`s long-term growth agenda.

RANK: DEPUTY MANAGING DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations and succession planning.

  • Oversee training, leadership development and organizational capability building.

  • Drive operational centralization, process standardization and service excellence.

  • Modernize HR and operational processes through automation, HRIS and data analytics.

  • Advise senior management on people strategy and transformation while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective governance.

  • Foster an ethical, accountable and performance-driven culture.
