Experience:

• At least 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Investment/Merchant Banking

• Masters

• Master’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university in Bangladesh or abroad.

• No third division/class or equivalent academic result at any level.

• Professional qualifications such as FCA, CFA, ACA, CMA or ACCA will be an added advantage.

• At least 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Investment/Merchant Banking

• Age At least 28 years

• Preference will be given to candidates who have served as Managing Director/ CEO or senior leadership role with substantial business, regulatory and P&L responsibility of a BSEC licensed merchant bank or asset Management Company.

• Minimum 12 years of work experience in a financial institutions, merchant banks, asset management companies, investment banks or other relevant capital-market institutions etc.

• Practical experience in issue management and corporate advisory services.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.

• Fluency in English required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to form and lead a professional team and having existing relationships with C- level clients, counterparts, stakeholders and regulators, audit firms, domestic corporate and financial institutions.

• Ability to originate business for the Company, across the range of activities, including potential IPOs for SME and Main Board, loan syndication/ bond / sukuk offerings, M&A transactions, and business plans / information memorandum for bank financing.

• Ability to provide advisory services within the framework of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Issue) Rules, to the companies intending to raise its capital through IPO, rights issue, secondary offerings.

• Assess the prospective client with regard to compliance of IFRS, BSEC, DSE and other regulations.

• Highly motivated committed to the highest ethical standard and ability to work successfully in multi-gender team.
