Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable enterprise applications and digital solutions.

• Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JSF and Microservices architecture.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, React, Node.js, or related modern frameworks.

• Develop and integrate microservices using REST Client, OpenFeign/Feign Client, HTTP Client and other API communication mechanisms.

• Design, develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external systems through secure and reliable service-to-service communication.

• Implement API integration, error handling, timeout management, logging and exception handling for distributed applications.

• Containerize applications using Docker and perform application deployment, configuration and troubleshooting in Docker-based environments.

• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, secure and well-documented code following software development best practices.

• Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization and root-cause analysis.

• Work with relational and/or Oracle databases and develop efficient SQL queries.

• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment and production support.

• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps, infrastructure and other technology teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, system improvements and continuous enhancement of existing applications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in software development, application development or full-stack development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, JSF and REST API development.

• Practical experience in Microservices architecture and distributed application development.

• Hands-on experience with REST Client, Feign Client/OpenFeign, HTTP Client and service-to-service API communication.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, API integration, authentication, exception handling and API troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of Node.js, Angular, React or other modern frontend/backend frameworks will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive web application development.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, database design and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Docker-based application deployment.

• Understanding of Git/version control, CI/CD, application deployment and software development best practices.

• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, system integration and software architecture.

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

• Candidates with experience in banking, financial services, payment systems, digital banking or other enterprise applications will have an added advantage.
