A bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Strong research instincts and the discipline to verify facts against primary sources.

Comfort with financial statements and the ability to interpret revenue, margin, and ownership information.

Advanced spreadsheet skills and confidence with professional research tools.

Self-direction, with the ability to manage a queue of work against deadlines across several mandates without close supervision.

Absolute discretion, given the highly confidential nature of the work.

Willingness to work hours aligned to the U.S. business day.

Advantageous

Experience in investment research, due diligence, corporate finance, consulting, audit, investor relations, business development, or market intelligence.

Exposure to private-markets work: venture capital, private equity, M&A, or capital raising.

A track record of building and defending research or prospect lists from primary sources.

Responsibilities & Context:

This is a full-desk execution role, not a support function. As an Analyst, you will carry live mandates through the early transaction lifecycle with direct ownership: building the buyer universe, preparing marketing materials, running approved outreach, qualifying interest, and setting up meetings between prospective buyers and the deal team.

You will work in direct, real-time coordination with senior bankers. When a prospective buyer signs an NDA and moves into live engagement with the seller's management and the senior team, your client-facing role on that buyer concludes, and you continue in a support capacity while advancing other mandates.

This is a demanding seat and a genuine training ground. Analysts learn how transactions actually get done and are expected to grow into greater responsibility based on their judgement and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Buyer and Market Research: Identify and profile strategic and financial acquirers. Research industries and companies. Validate financial and ownership data against primary sources.

Marketing Materials: Prepare and quality check teasers, one-pagers, and buyer lists. Support production of confidential information memoranda.

Outreach Campaigns: Execute monitored, partner-approved outbound campaigns across email and professional networks. Track engagement and responses.

Prospect and Investor Meetings: Qualify inbound interest. Schedule and coordinate introductory calls between prospective buyers and the deal team. Prepare briefing notes and agendas.

NDA and CIM Process: Manage NDA issuance and tracking. Control distribution of confidential materials under strict approval and confidentiality controls.

Pipeline and Data Discipline: Maintain accurate, complete, and deduplicated records in the firm's systems, with rigorous task and deadline management.

Real-Time Coordination: Keep the senior team informed during overlapping hours. Escalate live developments immediately. Maintain same-day responsiveness on active mandates.
