Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and lead cross-functional teams.
High ethical standards and a passion for financial inclusion guided by Islamic principles.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7 to 14 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in a strategy, business development, or product management role within Islamic banking, Islamic FinTech, or a leading MFS/FinTech company.
Professional certification in Islamic Finance (e.g., CIFP, IFQ) is highly desirable.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Lead the end-to-end strategic revamp project for Nagad Islamic, from market analysis to roadmap design and execution.
Conduct in-depth market research on Islamic FinTech, including competitor analysis (local & global), and identify unmet customer needs in Bangladesh.
Define and articulate Nagad Islamic’s new value proposition, product portfolio strategy (e.g., Islamic Savings, Sadaqah, Zakat management, Halal investment options), and go-to-market plan.
Business Development & Sales Enablement
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue growth for Nagad Islamic.
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with corporates, NGOs, and other institutions for Shariah-compliant offerings.
Support the sales team with market insights, product positioning, and value propositions to enhance sales effectiveness.
Track sales performance and customer acquisition metrics, providing actionable recommendations to optimize results.
Business Case Development & Performance Measurement
Develop business cases, financial models, and performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic and sales initiatives.
Monitor product performance, revenue trends, and market penetration to inform future strategy.
Shariah Compliance & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with Shariah Scholars/Board to ensure all products, processes, and communications comply with Shariah principles.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Product, Technology, Marketing, Finance, and Sales teams, to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare high-level presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders.
Ensure clear and effective communication across the unit, sales teams, and external partners.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor and guide junior team members within the IDFS unit, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
