∎ Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
∎ In-depth IT knowledge with advanced level of MS Excel.
∎ Experience working with ERP system.
∎ Good presentation & communication skills.
∎ Sound Knowledge on VAT & Tax.
∎ Play the required role as an active member of CAMELCO.
∎ Experience:
∎ Minimum 15 years of experience out of which 5 years should be in a leading position in any financial institution or Large Group of companies or Multinational companies.
∎ Comprehensive and practical experience with IPOs.

∎ Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, goals, and objectives.
∎ Provide strategic financial leadership and advice to the executive team and the Board of Directors.
∎ Analyze financial trends and provide insights for decision-making.
∎ Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
∎ Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
∎ Provide financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
∎ Establish major accounting and economic objectives and policies for the company.
∎ Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
∎ Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial reporting standards and applicable industry specific standards.
∎ Communicate financial results and insights to the Management Committee, CEO and board.
∎ Add value and challenge business decisions from a financial perspective to optimize profitability, enhance financial stability, and drive sustainable growth.
∎ Ensure satisfactory controls are introduced with substantiating documentation endorsement and accessible such that all buys may pass autonomous and legislative audits.
∎ Oversee record-keeping to meet the necessities of stakeholders and concerned administrative authorities.
∎ Optimize capital structure and investment decisions.
∎ Manage cash flow and liquidity to support the company's operations.
∎ Oversee relationships with financial institutions.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies and legal requirements.
∎ Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
∎ Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
∎ Provide leadership to finance team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
∎ Collaborate with other executives in strategic decision-making and cross-functional initiatives.
∎ Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
∎ Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
∎ Liaison with different financial institutions and regulatory bodies i.e. IDRA, NBR, RJSC, BIDA, BSEC and other government regulatory bodies as applicable.
∎ Engage with investors, analysts and other stakeholders.
∎ Participate in investor relations activities, including earnings calls and presentations.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with external auditors and financial partners.
∎ The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of Guardian Life Insurance Ltd.’s (GLIL) Management Committee (i.e. the leadership team) and will report to the CEO. This position will be responsible for overseeing financial management, strategy and leadership collaboratively with the senior leaders across the organization to achieve our vision and business goals.
