Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Human Resource Officer is accountable for managing the operations of all aspects of the HR activities in field level, including the implementation of centralized Human Resource functions. The position is also responsible for ensuring proactive deployment and maintenance of the HR policies and practices.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with various departments/programs of BRAC at field level, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
∎ Liaise with a wide range of people involved in policy areas and ensure its compliance. Deal with employees' need and queries regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
∎ Assist manpower planning in alignment with programme needs; employee development planning, and effective utilization of employees at field level
∎ Coordinate and organize field based recruitment and selection process.
∎ To Identify, retain and develop the talents of field offices by coordinating with the talent management team.
∎ Provide support in TNA process and post-evaluation as per requirement.
∎ Involve with the whole process of project staff ad teacher recruitment.
∎ Involve with the activities related to health insurance matters of field offices.
∎ Take part in different Employer Branding initiatives for increasing the organizational brand value.
∎ Participate and organize of different training, meeting and forum in the field offices.
∎ Ensure, coordinate and facilitate on-boarding of new staff in field offices.
∎ To strengthen rapport with the field staff and build a brand image of HRD by visiting the field offices on a regular basis.
∎ Support and follow-up for on time performance appraisal in qualitative manner to make it effective.
∎ Work to achieve the best outcome of Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) at field level.
∎ Involve with internal investigations process (i.e. theft, harassment, etc.).
∎ Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
∎ Process documentation and prepare reports relating to HR activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
∎ Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer and presentation skill, counseling, interpersonal and teamwork skills, negotiation
∎ Knowledge on recent HR practices, change management
∎ Problem solving, decision making on different issue, meticulous attention to detail and form working relationships with people at all levels
∎ Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field is required.
