Job Context

Experience Group is looking for a highly experienced, dynamic and strategic HR professional to lead the Group’s overall Human Resources functions. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures across the entire organization and ensuring effective coordination between the corporate office and factory HR teams.

Candidates must have substantial working experience in the RMG sector and a strong understanding of factory HR operations, labour relations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the overall HR functions of the Group, including both corporate office and factory operations.

  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, company policies, service rules, SOPs and employee guidelines.

  • Align HR strategies and initiatives with the Group’s overall business objectives.

  • Lead corporate- and factory-level recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding.

  • Ensure the right workforce is recruited and deployed according to factory production requirements.

  • Establish an effective performance management system with clear KPIs, appraisals and employee development plans.

  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, attendance, leave and employee welfare programmes.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, regulatory requirements, buyer codes of conduct and company standards.

  • Guide factory HR and compliance teams in preparing for buyer, social compliance and regulatory audits.

  • Maintain sound industrial relations and effectively handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, disputes and workplace investigations.

  • Develop employee retention, engagement, motivation and succession-planning strategies.

  • Identify training needs and implement leadership, managerial, technical and behavioural development programmes.

  • Build a strong organizational culture based on professionalism, accountability, integrity and respect.

  • Support management in organizational restructuring, manpower optimization and change-management initiatives.

  • Ensure effective implementation and utilization of HRIS and accurate maintenance of employee records and HR data.

  • Prepare HR budgets, workforce reports, management dashboards and periodic HR analyses.

  • Advise the Board and senior management on workforce risks, HR strategy, compliance matters and organizational development.

  • Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from a reputed university with a strong academic record.

  • Degrees in Human Resource Management, Management, or a relevant discipline are preferred.

  • Professional qualifications such as LLB, PGDHRM, SHRM, CIPD or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including substantial experience in the RMG sector.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position such as GM, Head of HR or an equivalent role.

  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple factories or business units is strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of factory HR operations, labour relations, compliance and employee management.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement organization-wide HR policies and systems.

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Bangla.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and accountability.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to different factories and business units.
