Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in any discipline from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with Safeguarding Focal/Champion of organisational programmes and other entities to ensure that the safeguarding initiatives are implemented according to safeguarding charters.
∎ Support programmes and operations to implement safeguarding Due Diligence process of partners and follow safe programme design tools for preventing (or addressing) situations where vulnerable people may be put at risk.
∎ Develop awareness messages on safeguarding issues and complaint mechanisms for staff and various stakeholders inside and outside of BRAC and regular BRAC community forums.
∎ Develop training modules and learning materials and conduct session for various participants on safeguarding issues.
∎ Develop monitoring tools/ questionnaire/ checklist for measuring achievement.
∎ Work with Risk Management Team to ensure systematic risk assessment of programmes and departments and maintain safeguarding register and follow up.
∎ Work with HR units for ensuring safeguarding aspects in regular HR mechanisms such as safe recruitment, designing job description and performance management system etc.
∎ Assist on development and review of safeguarding and other subset policies and guidelines as required.
∎ Support to arrange and conduct meeting, discussion, workshop, dialogue as required with different stakeholders on safeguarding issues
∎ Design and maintain safeguarding case reporting channel and case registrar.
∎ Prepare narrative progress report on safeguarding progress for different management level and donors.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 02 years of experience in relevant field.
∎ Good understanding and commitment on safeguarding policies and practices
∎ Facilitation skills to conduct training, workshop and dialogue with various internal and external stakeholders
∎ Develop training modules and learning materials on safeguarding for various audience including community level
∎ Skills on writing (both Bangla and English), developing messages, communication materials on safeguarding for various stakeholder
∎ Skilled in report writing, preparing power point presentation and any form of written communication.
∎ Experience on Safeguarding Case Management and reporting mechanisms
∎ Gender sensitive and able to integrate gender principles in planned activities
∎ Able to maintain confidentiality, sensitivity and respect to all in workplace and other social spheres
∎ Good team player with ability to work in adverse situation when needed
