Job Context:
∎ The Job is project Based.
∎ The name of the project is `Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project (UPHCSDP-II), Faridpur Municipality, Project Area-1` under Local Government Division of LGRD&C.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with PMU and PIU in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the project activities and also in developing future strategies by making recommendations.
∎ Monitor project activities and supervise the work of supervisee staff directly through regular field visit and providing on-site technical assistance (hand on training).
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly staff meeting to review progress and develop actions for further improvements and reach the contract conditions
∎ Preparation of the annual work plan with target (quality, coverage and goals), budget and project implementation report.
∎ Introduce Individual Performance Management (IPM) system into the project and facilitate annual staff appraisal system in a participatory manner
∎ Attend the Project related meetings to get informed on project activities, strategies, policies and goals and seek inputs and directions
∎ Closely work with PIU, PMU and MSU to seek inputs to effectively implement the project activities as per set standards and strategies.
∎ Coordinate with relevant government agencies and NGOs and private entities providing health care services in the PAA, and achieve synergy and avoid duplication.
∎ Ensure setting up of the clinics and running those with promoting UPHCSDP II branding, Ensure timely implementation of project activities in the clinics and in outreach
∎ Ensure target group, and issue specific BCC activities in project area, Ensure marketing of the clinics to the community people through outreach team,
∎ Organize training and guide the UPHCP team members in preparing timely and accurate reports according to required format.
∎ Ensure that all assigned service delivery points maintain clinical quality standards and provide quality services to clients
∎ Ensure holding of monthly management meeting in all the centers; with all the clinical and outreach staff, review progress and take action plan, give inputs and coordinate in designing a quality of care system for the, centers and the outreach of the respective clinics, which would ensure technical competence of services and clients' needs.
∎ Ensure access of poor to UPHCP clinics, Ensure Achievement of other partnership ship objectives
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 27 years
∎ Must be knowledgeable about NGO operations and operating environment in Bangladesh.
∎ Knowledge of development partner rules and regulations.
∎ Minimum of seven years of experience
∎ Experience with donor funded program will be given additional preference.
∎ Proven experience on program planning, staff management, motivation and monitoring & evaluation
∎ Willingness to travel extensively in the area of PSTC's operations in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility and have the patience to work under pressure
∎ Ability to communicate effectively
∎ English language proficiency
∎ Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
∎ Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in all aspects of working
∎ Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ MBBS or MPH/Masters in Social Science/Business Administration/Management or relevant discipline. A degree in MPH would get priority, provided other conditions have been fulfilled. Staff who have worked in similar position in UPHCSDP will be given preference and educational qualification of such person(s) may or may not be relaxed
∎ At least 7 years working experience in health management.
∎ Experience in quality assurance monitoring and supportive supervision, behavioral change communication and poverty focused program implementation.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 56525 (Monthly)
∎ Consolidate Salary.
In addition, 2 festival bonus equivalent to two basic salary as per policy.
