∎ Expertise in communication and knowledge management: Demonstrated experience in communication & knowledge management. A solid track record of developing and implementing country communication strategy is highly desirable.
∎ Resource Mobilization Expertise: Strong skills in resource mobilization, including knowledge of call for proposal requirements and attendant pre- and post-proposal procedures. Additionally, the ability to adapt to varying donor requirements and funding procedures is crucial.
∎ Proven Representation Skills: Experience in effectively representing the organization to external stakeholders, including donors, embassies, and humanitarian clusters.
∎ National and Local Collaboration: Proven experience in collaborating with national/local actors and demonstrated ability to build capacity in national and local organizations for emergency preparedness and response.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervisor: Funding’ Donor Relations & Communication Manager
∎ Cordaid is one of the largest Dutch agencies for international development cooperation. Cordaid merged with ICCO Cooperation in 2021 and is now operating under the brand of Cordaid. Cordaid in Bangladesh has multiple projects being implemented in 10 districts across Bangladesh with 5 field offices with the support of various bilateral and multilateral donors. Key areas of intervention are sustainable agri-food systems, nutrition governance, food security, security and justice, humanitarian aid, and disaster resilience.
∎ The Knowledge & Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Funding Donor Relations & Communications Manager. In this role, the coordinator is responsible for collaborating with country office colleagues and the field team to ensure organizational and project visibility. This includes capturing key learnings and achievements and disseminating this information to relevant stakeholders.
∎ The Knowledge & Communications Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day communications functions. They will work to seamlessly integrate country communication strategies into all strategic documents and Cordaid Bangladesh programmes. Under the technical guidance of the country and global office, the coordinator will be responsible for managing strategic communications across various channels (print, digital, website, and social media) for both the Country Office and external audiences. This will focus on increasing Cordaid Bangladesh's visibility among key stakeholders, including media outlets, government agencies, development organizations (donors and NGOs), and the business community. Ultimately, these efforts will contribute to effective resource mobilization.
∎ Developing and implementing a communication strategy to increase Cordaid's positive media mentions and social media following. Additionally, creating thought leadership content to position Cordaid as a leading and forward-looking organization in the development sector among the donors, government agencies, local development organizations and relevant stakeholders. Ensure branding consistency across all strategic documents. This includes securing speaking engagements and collaborating with influential organizations for events. Develop contents including annual report, presentations, social media, press releases, etc. Asist to organize different events at national and regional levels for the visibility and branding of the organization.

Finally, developing and implementing a resource mobilization strategy that outlines fundraising goals, target audiences, and communication channels, with ongoing tracking and reporting to optimize resource allocation.
