∎ Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in monitoring and implementation of the democracy and local governance project/s with local government, gender, particularly in area of local government expertise and women empowerment of governance.
∎ Should have good knowledge of overall program design, implementation including staff development and financial management, advocacy, designing and conducting the training and workshop/seminars at different levels.
∎ Should have previous experience in preparing training modules/supervision, monitoring and reporting as per Performance Monitoring Indicators.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Microsoft excel, word, power point, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work and must have good writing and speaking skill on English

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ S/he will designing, organizing, monitoring and implementation plan of all project activities as per project guideline and organization policy
∎ Prepare annual work plan and budget including event calendar in the cluster in which will be operating.
∎ Responsible for overall planning of the project in line expected output and outcomes ensuring participation of all stakeholders in the process.
∎ Prepare multiyear budget as per yearly allocation considering planning & implementation phase and ensure achievement as per target within the deadlines.
∎ Participate in and facilitate different trainings, workshop and meeting at the local, divisional and national level.
∎ Ensure optimum use of project resources for smooth operation of project.
∎ Supervise and monitor the activities of the project personnel, Nagorik Platforms and develop ‘doing & learning’ strategy.
∎ Regular monitoring, supervision of program implementation and budget expenses
∎ Prepare the monthly/quarterly and progress report writing as per guideline
∎ Supervise and assist staff performance as per organization policy.
∎ Prepare an activity plan and develop guide line, training manual, hand note etc.
∎ Prepare advocacy strategy and support networks at national and local levels.
∎ Develop policy papers/brief and assist in conducting research/study and organize seminars/dialogue/meeting.
∎ Communication and liaison with policy makers, local administration, law enforcement agencies, Nagorik Platform, journalist and LEBs for smoothly implementation of the project.
∎ Actively participate in the meetings and activities of the Program group and Steering Committee comprised by Project Coordinators of the PNGOs and GFA
