Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure financial control and management system across PSTC is effective, meets practices of good governance and value for money is achieved and optimized. To mitigate financial risks ensure transparency and compliance of financial rules and regulations in all financial transactions throughout the organization.
∎ • Responsible for financial activities of project.
∎ Maintain accounting records in accordance with Financial Management and Accounting Manual of PSTC, Partner's Financial and Administrative Guideline of Donor and government requirements.
∎ Prepare Cash Book, Ledger Book, Vouchers and banking transaction.
∎ Maintain Petty Cash of project.
∎ Provide all necessary accounts related technical support to the PC and program staff for smooth implementation of the project
∎ Provide support to program personnel for budget preparation, budget revision, and budget controlling system as and when required.
∎ Prepare Receipt and Payment statements and budget variance report.
∎ Prepare financial reports as per Donor standard.
∎ Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
∎ Facilitate audit activities.
∎ Record keeping of provident fund and gratuity of project.
∎ Preserve all documents of financial transactions.
∎ Responsible for overall administration of projects.
∎ Maintain requisition, tender system as per requirement of the organization and project.
∎ Maintain stock register update properly.
∎ Ensure maintenance of all assets.
∎ Take necessary initiatives to purchase materials and equipment as per requirement.
∎ Facilitate recruitment process, deployment and maintain personnel files of projects.
∎ Maintain leave registers and related documents.
∎ Undertake field visit to monitor activities and financial transactions at field level
∎ Ensure compliance of Human Resource Manual policies of PSTC and Financial and Administrative Guideline of donor and government requirements.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the PSTC as and when required

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 2 years experience in relevant field preferably in development sectors.
∎ Should have expertise in preparing budget, budget monitoring, and financial report preparation, Maintaining ledger books and accounts.
∎ Computer skills will be required; operating "Tally Software" will be an added advantage.
∎ Must be knowledgeable about NGO operations and operating environment in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility and have the patience to work under pressure
∎ English language proficiency
∎ Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
∎ Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in all aspects of working

Salary:
∎ Tk. 24000 (Monthly)
∎ In addition, 2 festival bonus, 10% Provident Fund & 10% Gratuity as per HR policy.
