  • Masters in any discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Public Health, particularly in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

  • Should have good command in MS Word, MS Excel and Tally software.·        

  • Strong analytical skills·        

  • Ability to address issues and effect change effectively     

  • Must be knowledgeable about NGO operations and operating environment in Bangladesh.· 

  • Demonstrated experience in organizing trainings, workshops, and community engagement activities.·        

  • Understanding of SRHRJ principles and rights-based programming approaches.·        

  • Experience working with persons with disabilities and/or other populations experiencing vulnerability.·        

  • Willingness to travel extensively in the area of PSTC’s operations in Bangladesh.·        

  • Strong sense of responsibility and have the patience to work under pressure·        

  • Ability to communicate effectively·        

  • English language proficiency·        

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills·        

  • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in all aspects of working

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Program Officer will support the day-to-day implementation of program activities aimed at promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Justice (SRHRJ), with a strong focus on disability inclusion and persons experiencing vulnerability. The position will contribute to community engagement, capacity-building, development and dissemination of IEC materials, documentation, and coordination with program partners, civil society actors, and communities to ensure inclusive, rights-based program delivery.

  • Support the Project Coordinator in organizing and facilitating joint program activities, including inception workshops, review meetings, and learning events related to SRHRJ and disability inclusion.

  • Assist in the use and maintenance of a shared program learning and knowledge-sharing platform, ensuring timely uploading and organization of tools, training materials, IEC resources, and documentation.

  • Support the review and updating of program and organizational documents to strengthen the practical application of SRHRJ and disability-inclusive approaches in implementation and service delivery.

  • Collect, compile, and document qualitative feedback from participants of trainings, awareness sessions, and communication activities to support learning and program improvement.

  • Support and facilitate community-level awareness-raising sessions in clinic catchment areas to promote understanding of SRHRJ of persons experiencing vulnerability and to challenge harmful attitudes, stereotypes, and stigma.

  • Support the development, adaptation, and distribution of accessible SRHRJ information, education, and communication (IEC) materials in appropriate formats, including easy-read Bangla, visual, and audio materials.

  • Assist in disseminating SRHRJ communication materials through clinics, program partners, community-based organizations, and disability networks within the project catchment areas.

  • Assist in facilitating dialogue and learning sessions among civil society actors to strengthen collaboration and inclusive practices.

  • Support the dissemination of advocacy and communication materials to relevant decision-makers through meetings, consultations, and dialogue platforms.

  • Support the identification and selection of women and men with disabilities and other persons experiencing vulnerability to serve as peer educators, community health workers, or community advocates.

  • Assist in organizing and delivering training sessions for community members on SRHRJ, basic communication and facilitation skills, referral mechanisms, and peer support approaches.
