Experience:
Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a trainer in the development sector.
Of the total experience, at least 5 years must be directly related to microfinance training.
Experience in reputed NGO or microfinance institutions will be given preference.
Required Competencies
Demonstrated expertise in training module development and curriculum design.
Strong skills in conducting Training Needs Assessments (TNA).
Proven experience in planning, organizing, and facilitating adult learning programmes.
Ability to assess knowledge and competency gaps and recommend appropriate capacity-building interventions.
Hands-on experience in coaching and mentoring staff on microfinance operations.
Sound knowledge of microfinance principles, loan and savings operations, portfolio quality management, client protection principles, financial inclusion, and branch operations.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, report-writing, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel extensively throughout Bangladesh.

ASPADA Paribesh Unnayan Foundation is a national non-governmental organization committed to improving the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged communities through microfinance, livelihoods, education, health, environment, and climate resilience programmes. To strengthen the capacity of its Microfinance Programme, ASPADA is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dynamic professional for the position of Trainer (Microfinance).
Key Responsibilities
Assess training needs of microfinance staff and prepare annual and periodic training plans.
Design, develop, review, and update training modules, manuals, presentations, and learning materials on microfinance operations.
Conduct induction, refresher, and specialized training for branch managers, field officers, area managers, and other programme staff.
Identify knowledge and competency gaps through training needs assessments and performance analysis.
Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and technical support to field staff to improve operational performance.
Facilitate capacity-building programmes on microfinance policies, loan operations, savings management, delinquency management, client protection, financial literacy, and related topics.
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
Coordinate with programme management to ensure quality implementation of training initiatives.
Prepare training reports, documentation, and training databases.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
