Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree or ongoing undergraduate study in statistics, social science, development studies, agriculture, nutrition, public health, WASH, business, ICT or a related field is preferred.
The education requirement may be relaxed for candidates with strong and directly relevant field-data and computer-operation experience.
Background
iDE Bangladesh is implementing Year 3 of the Transforming Lives Through Nutrition (TLTN) project in selected districts of Barishal, Cox’s Bazar, and Sylhet. The project aims to improve maternal, newborn, and child nutrition through nutrition-sensitive and climate-smart agriculture, stronger market systems and entrepreneurship, improved access to nutritious products and services, and better household and community WASH practices. The Year 3 MERL framework requires timely, accurate, complete, and verifiable data aligned with the approved Logframe, Performance Indicator Tracking Table (PITT), and Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).
To strengthen field-level monitoring and research, iDE Bangladesh will engage nine Data Enumerators—three in Barishal, two in Cox’s Bazar, and four in Sylhet from September 2026 to May 2027. They will support routine monitoring, daily digital data collection, participant and activity registration, field verification, basic data cleaning, evidence management, and selected quantitative and qualitative research activities. All assignments will follow approved tools, sampling instructions, informed consent, safeguarding, confidentiality, data-protection, and data-quality procedures.

Technical Reporting Line: Technical Specialist – MERL
Operational Reporting Line: Field Team Leader; daily coordination with MERL and Research Officer, Research fellow relevant technical teams.
Engagement Type: Daily-rated, assignment-based support for routine monitoring and research data collection.
Assignment Period: September 2026– May 2027, subject to the approved PR, contract and workplan.
