Aspada Paribesh unnayan Foundation is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering communities and fostering sustainable development. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Director (Audit & IT)
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal audit strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure organizational transparency and accountability.
Plan, supervise, and conduct financial, operational, compliance, and IT audits across organizational projects and departments.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance systems, and recommend improvements.
Monitor compliance with donor requirements, NGO regulations, financial policies, and statutory obligations.
Lead IT governance initiatives, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of organizational information systems.
Oversee IT infrastructure, software applications, cybersecurity practices, data backup, and disaster recovery plans.
Prepare audit reports, identify risks, and provide practical recommendations to senior management and the Board.
Coordinate external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
Develop and monitor corrective action plans based on audit findings.
Provide guidance and capacity-building support to staff on internal controls, compliance, and information security.
Ensure proper documentation, record management, and confidentiality of organizational data.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Director or the Board.
