Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology
    • Diploma in Engineering in Telecommunication

Candidates holding one or more of the following industry certifications will receive added preference; however, these certifications are not mandatory:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA)

  • MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE)

  • Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-Junos)

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

  • Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1) or equivalent Any other relevant networking, system administration, cloud, or cybersecurity certification.

  • Experience with incident management, escalation handling, and RCA preparation.Familiarity with GPON, FTTH, Backbone Network, IP Transit, CDN, and Enterprise Connectivity.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and team management abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents effectively.

  • Willingness to work in a rotational duty schedule whenever required.



Responsibilities & Context:

Spectra Technologies Limited is looking for a highly experienced and proactive In-Charge, Network Operation Center (NOC) to lead its 24/7 Network Operations team. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted network availability, managing NOC engineers, monitoring backbone and access network performance, coordinating incident response, and maintaining service quality in line with company SLAs. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on operational experience with enterprise-grade ISP infrastructure and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the 24/7 Network Operation Center (NOC) team to ensure uninterrupted network operations.

  • Monitor the health, performance, and availability of the company's core, distribution, access, and transmission networks.

  • Ensure timely detection, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution of network faults within defined SLA.

  • Coordinate with Fiber Operations, Transmission, System Administration, Customer Support, and Vendor teams to resolve service-impacting incidents.

  • Manage and optimize network monitoring systems, alarms, and ticketing platforms.

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major outages and prepare incident reports with preventive action plans.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain NOC operational procedures, escalation matrices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Plan and manage preventive maintenance activities with minimal customer impact.

  • Monitor network utilization and recommend capacity upgrades based on traffic analysis.

  • Ensure proper documentation of network topology, configurations, operational changes, and maintenance records.

  • Supervise shift rosters, team performance, attendance, training, and technical skill development.

  • Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions and evaluate team competency regularly.

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with internal departments and external vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with network security policies and operational best practices.

  • Support implementation, migration, and commissioning of new network infrastructure.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.

  • Maintain high service availability and continuously improve operational efficiency.

  • Handle emergency situations and lead the NOC team during critical network incidents.
