Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving growth across retail and wholesale business segments. The role requires a proactive professional who can implement sales strategies, expand market presence, manage client relationships, and supervise sales teams. Acting as a bridge between the sales team and senior management, the incumbent ensures business objectives align with customer needs and market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Achieve sales targets for retail and wholesale segments.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Develop and execute sales plans to expand market share.
Marketing & Promotion
Plan and implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends for strategic decisions.
Collaborate with marketing teams for branding and customer engagement.
Retail Business Management
Supervise retail sales executives and monitor daily sales performance.
Manage pricing, discounts, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
Wholesale Business Management
Build relationships with distributors, resellers, and corporate clients.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
Ensure timely order fulfillment and adherence to credit policies.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale clients.
Resolve complaints promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Organize client meetings, trade events, and feedback sessions.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Guide and mentor sales teams to meet targets.
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Logistics for smooth execution.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare sales reports, monitor trends, and suggest corrective actions.
Track KPIs such as sales growth, conversion rates, and client acquisition.
Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation for retail and wholesale transactions.
Suggest improvements for sales efficiency and profitability.
