Responsibilities & Context:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, coordination, and learning of program interventions that promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Justice (SRHRJ), with a strong focus on disability inclusion and persons experiencing vulnerability. The position will ensure alignment with SRHRJ principles, strengthen inclusive practices, support capacity-building initiatives, and facilitate learning, advocacy, and community engagement across program partners and stakeholders.
Support the organization and facilitation of a joint program inception workshop for all program partners to align on SRHRJ principles, disability inclusion, results framework, indicators, and learning priorities.
Support the establishment, maintenance, and effective use of a shared program learning and knowledge-sharing platform (e.g., shared digital workspace) for tools, training materials, IEC resources, and documentation.
Review and support the update of organizational and program documents to strengthen the integration and practical application of SRHRJ and disability-inclusive approaches in program implementation and service delivery.
Conduct baseline assessments to assess SRHRJ knowledge, attitudes, confidence, and decision-making capacity among women and girls with disabilities.
Organize and facilitate small-group, accessible capacity-building sessions on SRHRJ for women and girls with disabilities.
Organize orientation and dialogue sessions with caregivers and family members to promote supportive attitudes toward the SRHRJ of women and girls with disabilities.
Organize community-level awareness-raising sessions in clinic catchment areas to promote understanding of SRHRJ of persons experiencing vulnerability and to challenge harmful attitudes, stereotypes, and stigma.
Develop, adapt and distribute accessible SRHRJ information, education, and communication (IEC) materials in appropriate formats, including easy-read Bangla, visual, and audio materials.
Organize and facilitate capacity-building trainings for civil society actors on SRHRJ of persons experiencing vulnerability, with a focus on disability inclusion, gender equality, stigma reduction, and referral pathways to SRHR services.
Disseminate advocacy and communication materials to relevant decision-makers through meetings, consultations, and dialogue platforms.
Identify and support the selection of women and men with disabilities and other persons experiencing vulnerability to serve as peer educators, community health workers, or community advocates.
