Master`s degree in Communications, Journalism, public health, population sciences, anthropology, urban and rural/regional planning, international development, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience working in developing country settings in international health projects in a technical capacity, preferably at least 5 years with U.S. Government-funded projects;
Previous experience in the implementation of health or development programs in rural, hard-to-reach, and/or fragile settings in Bangladesh, and demonstrated experience working with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) or other diverse local health authorities (e.g., CHT Board, Tea Garden authorities) Bangladesh and/or the South Asia region is a strong advantage.
Exceptional communication skills, particularly on data, in written and spoken English required. Fluency in Bangla preferred.
Proficient in using infographic tools (e.g. Canva), mapping tool (e.g. Arc or Q GIS), data analysis and visualization tool (e.g. SPSS, Power BI) are preferred
Demonstrated expertise in multimedia content creation and presentation for showcasing of stories including social media
Training on professional photography is preferred
Experience of hands-on project closing documentation preferably in USG funded health project

The Momentum Integrated Health Resilience project (MIHR), implemented by a consortium led by IMA
World Health, is a global initiative that partners with governments and local stakeholders in fragile states and regions. MIHR’s objective is to save lives, through increased access to high quality MNCH-Nutrition life-saving interventions, strengthening partnership with local organizations and through improved adaptive management to prevent, detect and respond to health emergencies. MIHR focuses on equipping health institutions and frontline workers with the skills, tools, and resources to sustainably address the leading causes of maternal and child deaths. This approach directly contributes to the America First Global Health Strategy making America safer, stronger and prosperous across the globe, in the short, intermediate and longer terms.
In Bangladesh, MIHR will support the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) to deliver and strengthen life-saving MNCH and nutrition services in Cox’s Bazar host communities, Tea gardens in Sylhet region and in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) with some of the country’s most vulnerable populations. In this part of the country, health systems are overstretched by geographic isolation and difficult terrain, shortages of skilled health providers, cultural and linguistic barriers, and the protracted humanitarian crisis in Cox’s Bazar.

Job Summary
The Manager-Documentation and Communication is a full-time position with the MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Manager – Documentation and Communications will lead strategic storytelling and high-level reporting for the MIHR project in Bangladesh. By capturing data-driven impact stories from fragile settings—including Cox’s Bazar, the Chittagong Hill Tracts, and the Sylhet Tea Gardens—the Manager will demonstrate the project’s success in Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) and nutrition. This role is responsible for developing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the America First Global Health Strategy and ensures all contractual deliverables meet the rigorous standards of the U.S. Department of State (DOS). Acting as a vital link between technical teams and stakeholders, the Manager will translate complex health interventions into compelling narratives for both local and international audiences. The Manager will also support the Director-ME&IS in project data management through compilation, processing, analysis and visualization.
