The Deputy Project Manager - Digital Skills contributes to improve the quality and effectiveness of digital skills training activities in line with project plans and objectives. This position provides technical expertise and support for planning, organization, and delivery of digital skills training, ensuring high-quality implementation and learning outcomes. This position will work cooperatively with the Project Manager, ELT, and Digital Skills, FSSL, to effectively organize and facilitate skills training.t.
Lead both formal and non-formal assessments to evaluate learner progress, learning outcomes, and training effectiveness. Lead community mobilization efforts to promote digital and freelancing skills training opportunities.
Facilitate digital skills and entrepreneurship training sessions in accordance with approved curricula, training plans, and project requirements.
Provide technical assistance and expertise to enhance the learning experience and employability of training participants.
Develop, adapt, and refine training curricula, materials, and learning resources based on participant feedback, project needs, and emerging industry trends.
Suggest and implement necessary modifications to training content and delivery approaches to ensure relevance and quality.
Support participant assessment, enrollment, verification, registration, attendance tracking, and maintenance of learner records and documentation.
Maintain accurate training data and ensure timely updating of participant information in relevant databases and reporting systems.
Monitor learner attendance and progress, and conduct follow-up activities as needed to support retention and successful completion.
Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing challenges and facilitating their development and participation.
Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders to ensure the quality and effectiveness of training activities.
Coordinate and facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT), orientation sessions, and other capacity-building initiatives for participants or relevant stakeholders.
Engage and coordinate with project stakeholders, partners, and community representatives to support the successful implementation of project activities.
Maintain project documentation and coordinate with the Camp-in-Charge (CiC) and relevant government authorities to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with administrative requirements.
Perform regular home visits, monitoring, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving to ensure the successful implementation of training activities.
Compile, analyze, and maintain training-related documentation, assessment results, and project records to support reporting and decision-making.
Collect, review, and respond to participant feedback and complaints to improve training quality and learner satisfaction.
Prepare and submit internal and external reports as required by the supervisor and the donor.
Support the organization and facilitation of seminars, workshops, meetings, and training events related to the vocational and digital skills training program.
Work closely with project support services to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
