  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Knowledge of ERP and online inventory management systems

  • Knowledge of warehouse and stock management software

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive)

  • Knowledge of Kobo Toolbox, ODK, and mobile data collection platforms



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will be responsible for field base monitoring, daily reporting, documentation preparation and preservation, warehouse or depot management, bill and challan maintenance, and any other task assigned by supervisor.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project activities, achievements, challenges, and resource utilization.

  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze field data related to WASH interventions, ensuring data quality and maintaining updated records in project databases and reporting systems.

  • Support financial management processes, including budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, cost forecasting, and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements at camp level.

  • Prepare and process bills, attendance records, and payment documentation for laborers, volunteers, and service providers, ensuring timely submission and payment.

  • Manage warehouse operations, including stock receiving, storage, issuance, inventory reconciliation, stock verification, and maintenance of accurate stock registers and online inventory systems.

  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and stock audits, ensuring accountability and minimizing discrepancies in warehouse records.

  • Coordinate logistics support for project activities, including transportation, material distribution, equipment mobilization, and delivery tracking to ensure timely implementation.

  • Prepare and maintain material utilization reports, stock movement reports, gate passes, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and other logistics-related documentation.

  • Support procurement planning by forecasting material requirements, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to prevent stock shortages.

  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and archiving of project, financial, procurement, warehouse, and logistics records for audit and compliance purposes.

  • Monitor resource utilization and operational efficiency, providing recommendations for cost-effective project implementation and improved inventory management.

  • Support donor, internal, and external audits by providing required documentation, records, and explanations related to project operations, finance, warehouse, and logistics activities.

    Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
