  • The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE).

  • Minimum 01 year of experience in Information Technology/ IT support.

  • Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: IT troubleshooting, computer hardware and software, MS Office applications, and network troubleshooting.



Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will be responsible for resolving IT troubleshooting issues and providing IT and computer support to staff under the supervision of the System Administrator.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Generate, analyze, and present management reports.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, operating systems, and desktop applications.

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.

  • Network setup and troubleshooting.

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and backup processes.

  • Deploy software and troubleshoot client systems.

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.

  • Respond to service requests in a timely manner.

  • Provide technical support in person or remotely.

  • Set up accounts for new users.

  • Repair and replace IT equipment.

  • Maintain IT assets and infrastructure.

  • Maintain hardware inventory and software licenses.

  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Keep updated on technology and security risks.

  • Ensure safeguarding standards and report incidents.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

    Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
