Additional Requirements: - Year of Experience: Minimum 2 years of field experience in Child Protection, Protection, GBV, or case management, particularly in humanitarian or emergency contexts
- Proficiency in English and local languages/dialects (e.g., Chittagonian, Rohingya) is mandatory·
- Knowledge of CP/GBV guiding principles, survivor-centered approaches, and data management systems (e.g., GBVIMS, CPIMS)·
- High level of discretion, ability to work under pressure, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse)·
- Experience in the specific working context (e.g., Rohingya camps) is highly valued
- Strong understanding of Child Protection and GBV principles
- Knowledge of case management procedures
- Counseling and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive cases confidentially
- Documentation and reporting skills

Responsibilities & Context: Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following position from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing CODEC "Strengthening the protective environment for children through a Comprehensive child protection and GBV response in the Rohingya camps and host communities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh” Project funded by UNICEF.
Responsibilities:
Identify, register, and manage CP and GBV cases according to established protocols
Conduct intake interviews and needs assessments
Develop individualized case management plans
Provide regular follow-up and case monitoring
Maintain confidentiality and ensure survivor safety and dignity
Close cases following standard procedures and documentation requirements
Provide basic psychosocial support to survivors and vulnerable children
Conduct supportive counseling sessions
Facilitate group sessions and awareness activities
Support emotional recovery and resilience of survivors
S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)’s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
