Coordinating and controlling the operation of vehicles in one location according to traffic regulations and MSF security rules and ensuring that the team of drivers perform their duties properly to provide an ade-quate, efficient and safe transport of goods and people

Accountabilities

• Transporting MSF personnel and material, ensuring their safety.

• Supervising the team of drivers and monitoring and evaluating their performance, ensuring compliance with all rules, safety regulations and MSF instructions, as well as the maintenance and service of their assigned vehicles, which includes preparing and overseeing the drivers' work schedule, ensuring daily and weekly checks of cars and the correct filling in of administration and vehicle logbook;

• Performing monthly checks of the vehicle inventory, documentation and first aid kit with the responsible driver and conducting a driving test for all new drivers. Performing regular driver assessments.

• দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত চালককে সাথে নিয়ে প্রতি মাসে গাড়ির সরঞ্জাম, নথিপত্র এবং প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা বক্স (ফার্স্ট এইড কিট) পরীক্ষা করা এবং সকল নতুন চালকের ড্রাইভিং টেস্ট বা চালনা পরীক্ষা গ্রহণ করা। এছাড়াও, নিয়মিতভাবে চালকদের কাজের মান মূল্যায়ন করা।

• Coordinating and supervising the associated resources (drivers) and fleet management to ensure adequate service in terms of organizing the availability of drivers, vehicles to drive, duty rosters and replacements in case of absence, and fuel control. Managing training courses for drivers

• Checking and ensuring that safety procedures are met in vehicles to ensure that transportation is in the best conditions of safety for travellers.

• যাত্রীদের জন্য সর্বোচ্চ নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে যানবাহনের সুরক্ষা পদ্ধতিগুলো পরীক্ষা করা এবং সেগুলো যথাযথভাবে মেনে চলা হচ্ছে কি না তা নিশ্চিত করা।

• Reporting any vehicle problems (mechanical, accidents...) to the line manager / technical referent and preparing monthly reports on each vehicle's services, spare parts, consumption, etc.

• যানের যেকোনো সমস্যা (যান্ত্রিক ত্রুটি, দুর্ঘটনা...) লাইন ম্যানেজার অথবা টেকনিক্যাল রেফারেন্টকে জানানো এবং প্রতিটি যানের সার্ভিসিং, খুচরা যন্ত্রাংশ, জ্বালানি খরচ ইত্যাদির ওপর মাসিক প্রতিবেদন তৈরি করা।

• Ensuring maintenance on the fleet of vehicles is in perfect working order, and that cars are serviced at the desired time to ensure good use of it and be able to deliver services.

• যানবাহন বহর যেন পুরোপুরি সচল থাকে এবং সময়মতো সার্ভিসিং করা হয় তা নিশ্চিত করা, যাতে সেগুলোর সঠিক ব্যবহার এবং নিরবচ্ছিন্ন সেবা প্রদান নিশ্চিত করা যায়।

• Looking after all equipment related to vehicles and drivers. Ensuring the proper use of radios in cars, numbers and codes, according to MSF protocols and procedures in place

• Plan and coordinate vehicle movements to optimize efficiency.

• Address any safety concerns or near-miss incidents.

Passenger Safety:

Security Protocols:

• Implement security protocols for vehicle movements, especially in high-risk areas.

• যানবাহন চলাচলের ক্ষেত্রে নিরাপত্তা বিধিমালা কার্যকর করা, বিশেষ করে উচ্চ-ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ এলাকাগুলোতে।

• Coordinate with security personnel to ensure safe travel routes and avoid dangerous areas.

Permanent Contract. Salary according to level (4) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 55,500). Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff.

There is no provisions for relocation. 2 Festival Bonuses after completion of one year of uninterrupted continuous service.
