Education:
  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or in a related field.

  • Professional HR certification or specialized training in Human Resource Management will be an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:

Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF’s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. PRF is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of HR Officer.
Responsibility:

  • Maintain and regularly update employee information and personnel files, ensuring that all required documents are properly organized and easily accessible.

  • Maintain an updated organizational staffing list, accurate HR databases and personnel information systems.

  • Review staff contracts and timely ensure extension letters as per management decision.

  • Provide timely support in job advertisement, and coordinate publication through newspapers, job portals, notice boards, and other appropriate channels.

  • Support recruitment activities including CV screening, arranging recruitment interview, onboarding, employee induction, and orientation.

  • Conduct regular information-sharing sessions on HR policies, organization memos, forms etc to ensure that all employees clearly understand the applicable guidelines, procedures, and relevant updates.

  • Monitor and maintain records of attendance, leave, balances of leave and ensure timely submission of timesheets by all staff.

  • Regularly review the professional and technical certifications of relevant staff, monitor their validity, and follow up in a timely manner for renewal or necessary action.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

  • Coordinate resignation, termination, retirement, and end-of-contract procedures.
