This position will be responsible for the overall project implementation and will facilitate the day-to-day functioning of the project team under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.

• Establish and maintain effective coordination and communication with Camp-in-Charge (CiC), government authorities, donors, UN agencies, NGOs, sector partners, community representatives, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure effective integration and coordination of WASH activities with other sectors, including Health, Protection, Shelter, Site Management, Education, and Community Engagement.

• Monitor project inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes against the approved project document, Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP), and annual work plan, ensuring timely achievement of project targets.

• Lead the implementation of project activities in accordance with approved plans, donor requirements, organizational policies, and quality standards.

• Facilitate donor visits, monitoring missions, audits, assessments, and evaluations by providing necessary information, documentation, and field support.

• Maintain regular communication with donors and project stakeholders regarding project progress, achievements, challenges, risks, and mitigation measures.

• Develop, update, and implement emergency preparedness and response plans for project operations and lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities during emergencies and disasters.

• Strengthen community engagement mechanisms, including Complaint Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM), to ensure accountability and beneficiary participation.

• Maintain effective liaison with local government institutions, national and international agencies, implementing partners, and relevant coordination platforms.

• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock verification, and ensure proper storage, distribution, utilization, and documentation of project materials and assets.

• Undertake regular field visits to provide technical guidance, monitor implementation progress, identify challenges, and ensure quality assurance of project activities.

• Supervise construction, rehabilitation, repair, and maintenance works related to WASH infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), identify implementation gaps, and develop corrective action plans to ensure timely delivery of results.

• Coordinate and distribute responsibilities among project staff, volunteers, and community workers while maintaining an effective monitoring and accountability system.

• Lead staff and volunteer recruitment, deployment, performance monitoring, coaching, mentoring, and capacity-building initiatives to enhance project effectiveness.

• Support project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making processes to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, filing, and archiving of project, financial, procurement, warehouse, and administrative records.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s safeguarding goals and maintain a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote, and endorse safeguarding policies among team members and ensure safeguarding standards are integrated into all project activities.

• Follow safeguarding and PSEA reporting procedures and encourage timely reporting and appropriate action for any reportable incidents.

• Facilitate staff development through regular training, coaching, and learning opportunities, including technical, safeguarding, PSEA, and emergency preparedness.
