Experience:
Master's degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Science or another relevant discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in the WASH sector and 1 year in WASH programming in FDMN camps.

Job Purpose
The Deputy Project Manager supports the Project Manager in the overall planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and reporting of the project. The position ensures timely delivery of quality WASH services, effective supervision of field teams, compliance with donor and organizational requirements, and effective coordination with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Support overall project planning, implementation and monitoring against approved work plans.
• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of all project activities.
• Supervise and mentor technical and field staff and monitor performance.
• Ensure project targets, indicators and quality standards are achieved.
• Support preparation of implementation plans, budgets and procurement plans.
• Monitor budget utilization and recommend corrective actions.
• Review field reports and ensure timely submission of quality reports.
• Coordinate with BRAC, CiC, RRRC, WASH Sector and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies and Sphere standards.
• Support risk management and problem solving during implementation.
• Ensure effective documentation and record management.
• Support monitoring, evaluations, audits and donor visits.
• Promote community participation, accountability and inclusion.
• Ensure gender equality, disability inclusion and protection mainstreaming.
• Represent the organization in meetings when delegated.
• Act on behalf of the Project Manager during absence or delegation.
• Promote teamwork and staff capacity development.
• Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Safeguarding, PSEA and Child Protection Responsibilities
• Promote a culture of zero tolerance for Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH).
• Ensure all staff, volunteers and contractors understand and comply with safeguarding and PSEA policies.
• Identify and mitigate safeguarding risks during project implementation.
• Ensure safe, confidential and accessible complaint and feedback mechanisms are functional.
• Immediately report safeguarding or PSEA concerns through approved reporting channels.
• Ensure survivors are treated with respect, confidentiality and a survivor-centred approach.
• Promote safe programming and do no harm principles.
• Support safeguarding awareness sessions for staff and communities.
• Ensure partners comply with safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all safeguarding information.
Salary 65,000 BDT per month and others benefit as per project budget.
