We are looking for an experienced (1-2 year) People Assistant with a strong HR background and practical experience of working in the HR/People sector. This position will be on a contractual basis 12 months to 18 months.
Direct Reporting: Country manager on behalf of People Business Partner
About the role As a People Assistant, you will be Responsible for Implementing and execute defined HR processes in the Bangladesh office, which promote BESTSELLER’s strategic objectives-
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Handling employee HR activities in Bangladesh and Pakistan
Execution of day-to-day HR processes
Ensuring all sorts of HR task and personnel files are updated in Success factor People system
Leave and attendance monitoring by Global people software and all procedures for exit employees
Proactively manage legal risk and continually ensure compliance with local labor laws
Employee relations issues are dealt with effectively to minimize legal and financial risk
Support CR and managers at all levels in all HR related activities
Implement and execute HR activities in cooperation with PEOPLE team in the global souring unit to align our activities across countries
Ensure BESTSELLER’s founding principles come alive in our daily business
Recruitment and interviews to ensure the right people for the right positions
Ensure effective and professional onboarding of new colleagues in the office
Ensure managers at all levels have the right tools to develop their team and team members
Contribute to a positive work environment and competent approach
Drive Employee engagement programs based on country office practices.
