• Accurate and on time audit report;

• Effective follow up to supplier/factory’s corrective action;

• Supplier/factory were well trained about social compliance;

• Sourcing team and DK are supported in the wanted and needed way for supplier/factory social compliance performance;

• Acting as a good team player and colleague according to BESTSELLER’s founding principles.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the company, in alignment with organizational needs and objektives.

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience, working with labour rights and stakeholder

  management in the RMG sector.

• Professional Certification: SA 8000 Basic & ISO 45001

• Experience from working on the side of brands, buying houses and manufacturers.

• Experience working with industry organizations and representing company at

  stakeholder events.

• Strong knowledge about local laws in Bangladesh Labor Rules (BLR) & Labor Law with amendment.

• Good interpersonal skills and candidates must also be able to work as part of a team, open-minded, energetic individuals who can contribute to a passionate team.

• Excellent communication skills both written & speaking in English.

• Skills Required: Leadership experience, Apparel, Buying House, Microsoft office skills, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Problem Solving, Project Management

• Support suppliers to improve performance according to BESTSELLER Social & Labour standards, targets, and rating systems.

• Responsible for new factory onboarding onsite verification to ensure that the new factory comply with BESTSELLER minimum standard in social compliance area;

• Conduct factory follow-up visit to monitor and remediate all compliance issues within BESTSELLER supply-base;

• Implement BESTSELLER’s Responsible Sourcing and Human Rights Due Diligence Strategies in Bangladesh

• Deliver training to supplier/factory relate to Bestseller code of conduct and legal requirement

• Work in partnership with suppliers to drive continuous improvements in line with BESTSELLER Responsible Sourcing expectations and requirements.

• Keep close communication with DK head office about supplier/factory social compliance performance;

• Work with sourcing team members and BESTSELLER vendors to thoroughly map our existing sub-contractor base & informal supply-chains;

• Be aware of relevant law updates and industry trends to contribute to building BESTSELLER sustainability strategy;

• Investigation and follow up on Accord / RSC inspection / Remediation.

• Responsible for BESTSELLER agreed external CSR project and Bestseller CSR project for supplier.

• Extensive national travel, and some international travel should be expected.
