Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of landed cost, customs and clearance mechanics, and inventory accuracy to prevent operational bottlenecks. Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to build a regulatory requirements register from source documents and know exactly where your judgment ends and a licensed specialist's begins. Industry Background: Designed inventory controls for an unforgiving category where batch, expiry, and authenticity matter (e.g., Beauty, Pharma, or FMCG).Hands-on Attitude: Comfortable being the entire function at the start, including significant on-site warehouse presence. Preferred (Not Required): Experience with ERP/WMS implementations alongside Shopify, or direct prior work with DGDA, BSTI, or NBR/Customs processes. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Equivalent deep practical experience will be highly valued over specific degrees). You must have personally owned warehouse operations, inbound logistics, or import compliance—not supported or supervised someone who did.

Warehouse Build-out: Own the own-warehouse build from site due diligence through fit-out to go-live. Manage layout, zoning, capacity, utilities, security, and safety.

Inbound Control Tower: Oversee every imported cosmetics PO from supplier documents through freight, customs/C&F, regulatory release, receiving, and inventory availability.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain the per-SKU regulatory requirements register across DGDA, BSTI, NBR/Customs, labelling, fire, and other applicable authorities, run in coordination with qualified advisers.

Inventory Control: Implement beauty-specific inventory control including batch/lot and expiry tracking, FEFO (First Expired, First Out), quarantine and release, damaged goods, returns, testers, samples, anti-tamper labelling, and near-expiry stock.

Vendor & Cost Governance: Manage landed-cost logic, the import cash calendar, and vendor governance across freight forwarders, C&F agents, racking, security, and transport providers.
