Responsibilities & Context:
Lead the Chattogram Warehouse & Logistics team for effective management of Distribution & Logistics operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance & transfer of items as per company policy.
Plan, implementation & utilize optimum use of warehouse space in coordination with Sales, Planning and other related departments.
Identify & segregate of damaged/expired/rejected/redundant/non-moving or unusable stock and managing their disposal in time as per company policy
Maintain custom/VAT documents as per requirement.
Ensure safety and proper storage of finished goods & maintain FIFO to assure quality as per QMS requirements
Ensure on time delivery of finished goods as per local and export order.
Manage transport agencies, Insurance Companies, Bank etc for smooth battery delivery
Ensure logistics planning for excellent customer service while optimizing the cost and capacity
Ensure compliance of store activities as per ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 requirements and company policy
Training and developments of people and ensure continual improvement of self and also the department
