The apprentices Programme offers ambitious graduates from the Textiles apparels & other universities where they get chance to explore the core business areas of an international fashion company and gain valuable working experiences in various areas in Bestseller.

As an Apprentice, you will be based at the BESTSELLER office in Dhaka and become part of a team of dedicated colleagues. During the two-year programme apprentice focus will be to develop the skills with the purpose of being able to take over a specific role at the office.

We see the Apprenticeship Programme as a long-term investment both for us as a company and for you as a trainee, which in the best case represents the start of an exciting long-term journey at BESTSELLER.

Area of responsibility :

• Implementation of BESTSELLER Testing Programme through coordination between suppliers, nominated test labs, forwarders and internal merchandising team to implement the RSL Testing programme.Reviewing suppliers Chemical Inventory Lists (CIL) and supporting suppliers to improve performance in Chemical Compliance and process optimization.
• Assignments:
• Supporting BESTSELLER Chemical Team in implementing BESTSELLER Restricted Substance List testing programme.
• Supporting Chemical Team to handle the chemical testing style selection according to supplier chemical rating, and sharing with suppliers, sharing the list of selected styles with forwarders to ensure the test report available for selected styles before shipment.
• Supporting BESTSELLER suppliers to understand RSL testing programme to comply with all products.In case of any fail report, communicating with related supplier, merchandiser, lab, and forwarder.
• Supporting suppliers in problem solving.Collecting data, analyzing and updating relevant parties for updating suppliers’ ratings.
• Following up Chemical Inventory Lists (CIL) of suppliers through Bhive and supporting suppliers to improve performance in Bhive.
• Coordinating the correlation tests between suppliers and labs.Working in wet processing factories to assess energy, water and chemical consumptions.
• Identifying the scopes for improvement in resource efficiency, waste reduction etc.Supporting BESTSELLER Chemical team for benchmarking of different wet processes.
• Communicating the success criteria of BESTSELLER chemical and environment system & standard to suppliers.
• Supporting overall activities of Chemical & Environment team to achieve BESTSELLER’s goals.
